I
am a leash hoarder. We have more than a professional
dog walker, but all of them serve different purposes. I have some cutesy ones, some retractable
ones, leather, paracord, and training ones.
We even still have our quick-release short collar from our police K-9
Shepherd. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have
a leash that does the job of several and still look stylish? In the words of Santa, “I have just what you
asked for and more. Ho*Ho*Ho!”
The
Kurgo Reflect and Protect Quantum Leash has everything that you’re looking for
in a dog-walking product. When my leash
arrived, I wasn’t sure how to use it.
This is because it is unlike all of my leashes. KURGO has developed the Quantum Leash to
extend to a 6-foot long lead. Nothing
new there, but just wait!
I can also use
this leash as:
*3
foot training leash
*Courier
bag style/over the shoulder
*Belt/
around the waist for hands-free running or hiking
*Double
dog ~ walking two dogs at once
*Tether-style
allowing you can attach your dog leash to a pole, bench, or tree (Never leave your dog unattended)
The
secret is in the simple steel carabineer adjustment. Just unscrew the carabineer and attach it to
any of the reflective ribbon loops on the leash. Also, a comfortable padded “floating” handle
moves conveniently to provide the walker with a soft grip no matter the leash
configuration you choose. The strong
nylon webbing and reflective ribbons ensure a safe walk in either the day or
night.
As with most leashes and products, you
can always find new uses for them. I
don’t think I would walk Bentley wearing the leash like a belt. He makes too many sudden sniff stops. I do use it belt-style when I am brushing him
in the backyard. He tends to walk and
wander as he is being brushed. I can
start the grooming right off the patio and within a few minutes, I am in the
far corner of the yard. This leash keeps
him in one spot and frees up both of my hands for brushing and bagging hair. I cannot tell you how much this helps. Pierre has been almost impossible to brush
outdoors. I have always needed an extra
hand. My new Kurgo Reflect and Protect
Quantum Leash provide that hand. I
successfully brushed him without any scratches on my arms. (He is not a fan of grooming)
These collars are very
attractive. They are available in
Coastal Blue, Grass Green, and Raspberry.
It was awarded the 2010 Editor’s Choice Award and Dog World Editor’s
Choice 2010. That is very impressive
recognition. You can check out Kurgo’s
Reflect and Protect Quantum Leash for yourself here. We think you’ll love it as much as we do and
that is saying a lot!

That's a really cool leash!! The boys look great as always!
ReplyDeleteWe agree and the boys modelled it well. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We are collar hoarders, so maybe if we moved in together, Bentley, we would have a huge collection of collars AND leashes! My mom isn't real into leashes. We have quite a few, but nothing real fancy and she would never attach a leash to herself so it would be hands free unless she had a death wish. We are not that well behaved at all! Sounds like a nice leash that you reviewed.
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteMy Human used a thick, soft rope when she needed to leash Candy (my Chessie big sis). After she passed away, the rope got put away with Candy's beds. I got all new "stuff" when I joined the family, including a 6 foot leather training lead. It's the only leash I've ever had and I'm a senior now. (Course I don't spend much time on a leash).
Pierre doesn't know what he's missing! Grooming and a good bath are GREAT!!! Silly boy!
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Bentley that is truly an All Purpose Walkin String... We think the idea is FANGtastic. We do that Walkin Around stuffs when mom tries to bursh US outside, too. We think it is FUN to watch her try to keep up with Us... while attempting to brush or comb our furs...
ReplyDeletethat is one very clever leash for sure - we will have to look into one of those

This sure is a smart leash.
ReplyDeleteCool leash! We only have 2 of them. We have our running leashes (hands free) and our regular ones with the padded handles. Maybe we need more!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
The inventiveness of others continues to astound me. What a versatile leash! I see lots of people struggling to control 2 dogs on walks, and they could sure use this.
ReplyDeleteCool leash and we love Pridebites too! Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteIf we were doggies, we'd like that leash too!
