It's a Labor Day Weekend Two'fer

   We hope that everyone is planning a great Labor Day weekend here in the U.S.A. It is the last hurrah of summer and we can’t wait for the first crisp day of autumn. Of course, this weekend means two things to Bentley & Pierre…
Squirrel Season

Our local squirrels are busy running up and down the trees this time of year and Pierre is busy “terrier~izing” them. They are certain this new Bayou Boys Super Duper Squirrel Stand is the answer to ridding the yard of those pesky varmints.

College Football Season
Few things are more exciting around our home than the beginning of college football. We don’t have to worry about our neighbors calling the police from all of the screams and HBO words coming from our house each Saturday.
They are LSU fans too.

    It is crazy this time of year with squirrels around here. They are starting to prepare for winter and are everywhere! Football is good too. We lost our QB this week to a bad injury, but still have hope the Vikes can have a great season in their new stadium. We also root for the Gophers college football team. Have a great holiday weekend!

    great that your neighbors are fans too :o) this weekend is always a little bittersweet, it is like the official end of summer fun... and there is labor day sale, so more bitter than sweet for my daddys wallet :o)

    What an exciting time for your household! I love your new squirrel stand, that is sure to end the pesky varmint problem. Oh heaven help me that football is starting, Baseball into football doesn't give me a moment's break! My husband loves both sports and I'm often left out in the cold while he watches endless games.... Ugh. Have fun this weekend!

    What an awesome squirrel watching post! They are pretty irresistible with all their zipping around. We don't see too m any living in town, but we're moving to the mountains soon and will have plenty in the yard! I think we need a treehouse like this, too! ~Rascal and Rocco
