MIU PET Shower Turns Bath Time Into Spa Day

Barking from the Bayou, LLC received an MIU PET Multi-Functional Dog Shower in exchange for an honest review. We only share products or services that we believe would benefit our audience and that we use ourselves. All opinions are our own and MIU is not responsible for the contents of this article.
Bath time is part of living with a dog. Bentley and Pierre are usually in the tub every other week. I won’t say who but one gets a very distinctive “Hound Dog” smell and a certain white fluffy dogs loves to roll in the dirt. They think they smell terrific, but they are wrong. You might be lucky and get away with fewer dog baths than I do but still the day comes when you have to do it. What do you do? Is it a struggle with the water spraying everywhere and the shampoo bottle on its side with the liquid gold running down the drain? I have been there and done that! We used to live with two German Shepherds and they were like washing diesel trucks!
I really don’t mind bathing the boys. It is a perfect time to bond and check for any bumps or boo-boos. They both fit easily in our bathtub. The problem is that both dogs know where to stand in the tub so that our shower hose won’t reach. That means I have to become a contortionist to get them rinsed. It is not a pretty picture and I can tell the boys are stifling their laughter.
That is why I was so excited to try the MIU PET Multi-Functional Dog Shower-Bath. It is available in 4’4” and 7’7” length stainless steel hose. The obvious choice for me was the longer one. When it arrived I was impressed with the ease of installation and the flexibility of the hose. There are also 4 universal connectors for both indoor and outdoor use. That means you can bathe your pup in the tub, kitchen sink, driveway, or backyard; anywhere there is running water. The shower-bath massager is a hand-held grooming tool that dispenses shampoo and clear water. It was perfect for bathing my boys.
Let me show you how simple the MIU PET Dog Shower-Bath is to use:
Choose an adapter and connect the tap. *I didn’t need an adapter because the hose screwed into my shower massage connection.)
Remove the shampoo protection cover and screw in shampoo outlet valve. Add shampoo.
You can thoroughly wet your pet, push the shampoo release button at the front with your finger, use the soft teeth of the brush to massage your dog while the shampoo is cleaning them. *Bentley LOVED the feel of the massage and it removed a lot of loose hair.
Turn off water and cover shampoo outlet. Turn the water on and rinse away all of the dirt and shampoo. This worked incredibly well removing shampoo from both Bentley and Pierre. It is easy to see that their skin was getting cleaned and rinsed with the use of the brush grooming tool.
I was very happy with my new MIU PET Dog Shower-Bath. It certainly made the task of washing and rinsing the dogs much easier. According to the company’s website with practice you can save 50% water, 40% shampoo and half the time. That sounds like a great deal to me. The best thing I love about it is how much the boys enjoyed their special “spa time.”

  5. Oh Bentley, we have so many things in common. I have that shower thing too and I just love it. Mom loves the long hose and how easy it is to hold onto. I love the nubbies that massage my furs!

  6. we have one of those - we were a bit annoyed when we bought it that it only came with a standard 5 foot hose - we had to go back and buy the extender otherwise it wouldn't of been long enough to use.

  9. Bentley that shower hat is so YOU!!
Bath time reminded me of the years with our first (43 years ago) pet Toto the mighty mini dachshund....he always thought he smelled grand too. For some reason, Toto was intimidated by my Dad. Not sure why other than Dad was 6'2" and a had a deep voice. Anyway anytime he came in Toto would roll on his back and pee in the air. What goes up must come down and down it did right on to him. He had to have a bath. Back then we had a water pik attachment which worked ok but this new contraption would have been wonderful

  10. Well, that sure makes bath time easy. We're glad us cats are self-cleaning for the most part.

  11. Well that looks like quite the handy shower. Mom has dropped the shampoo a time or too much to her frustration

  12. We have a pretty good setup in our shower with a detachable head and hose that works pretty well, though sometimes it can be just a bit too short when someone is trying to get as far away from it as they can! This looks like a great product.

  14. Sam needs baths every time we go to the hospital so I feel your pain...er shampoo. We love those hoses to help get into the corners on pooches when you're trying to reach those areas because the dog thinks they're clever hiding at the far end of the tub. 😇
