The Topsy Turvy World of Laptops

We are missing in action due to the
topsy turvy world of laptops!
I have spent the last few days trying to fix something that was corrupted on my laptop. Sadly, it was not to be. I purchased a brand new DELL laptop yesterday. I spent several hours letting it update and all the other techy things it had to do. We are still getting to know one another. I hope to be back in the Barking from the Bayou business tomorrow. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

  2. I think you will love your new laptop! My husband gave me a pink Dell Inspiron 1535 for my 50th birthday I really loved that laptop, but sadly, it was not fast enough. I ended up giving the Pink Dell to my husband and I got a great deal on a Toshiba! Wishing you the best of luck with the new Dell!

  5. I was worried something happened because you guys never disappear. I'm glad you boys and your parents are okay and only the laptop is ill. My mom would be sick if her laptop acted up like that. Getting a new one takes so long to set up and transfer data, etc. Good luck and hope you guys are up and running again soon.

  8. Ugh....no fun! I'm so lost without my laptop, and when I can't blog! I just ordered a new one - mine is OK right now, but it is showing all the signs of being on it's last legs, so I wanted to get one before that happened to me!
Hope you are getting to enjoy your little break anyway, even if it wasn't planned!

    1. I wish that I was enjoying it but computer issues stress me to the max! It all started when my anti-virus started giving me messages that parts weren't turned on. I spent hours on the phone with them while they tried to fix the problem. I finally spoke to an "expert" who informed me something was corrupted. A tech friend of my son's spent the weekend trying to get me fixed. Luckily, we backed everything up before it went blue screen. LOL!

  23. Oh no! I've been avoiding getting a new laptop for just this reason! I'm terrified I'll have lots of problems and be out of commission. I always try to back up my blog routinely. In fact I think I'll do a backup right now!
